Current Standings
From October 14–28, 2025, six University residence halls are battling it out to see who can save the most energy and water in the ENERGY STAR® 2025 Battle of the Buildings Energy and Water Conservation Competition.
Congratulations to International House for leading in water and electricity reduction at the mid-contest meter readings! They have reduced water usage by 30.3% and energy usage by 7.4%!
Which residence hall can get more competitive? Which House has the best campaigning?
Unfortunately, due to lack of meter reading data, Woodlawn is not part of the competition this round.
Winners will be announced October 29!
We are excited that the award plaques for the Battle of the Buildings are made from a reclaimed campus Sugar Leaf Maple and will displayed in the winning buildings.
