Student Organizations
University of Chicago students engage in a range of activities and groups that promote sustainability. Student groups have led a wide variety of efforts to make the campus more sustainable including raising awareness of enviromental issues on campus and working to promote sustainability through education.

Phoenix Sustainability Initiative
Phoenix Sustainability Initiative (PSI) seeks to identify and actualize environmentally sustainable practices and policies with the University and wider Chicago community.
The Environmental Research Group is a student research group at the University of Chicago dedicated to exploring the intersections of the environment, business, economics, and public policy.
UChicago Environmental Alliance
The UChicago Environmental Alliance (UCEA) is a partnership between five sustainability-focused student organizations or project groups. We aspire to grow our support on campus to become a recognized alliance of voices for environmental good.

The Committee on Campus Sustainability (CCS) is a standing committee of Student Government focused on furthering three main goals: advocacy, awareness, and action.

The UChicago Food Recovery Network is dedicated to reducing the environmental footprint at UChicago and addressing local food insecurity by recovering food that would otherwise go to waste.
